Pro Personal Health
I am for the protection of our personal medical rights and freedoms. The government should never again be allowed to mandate, impose, demand, or regulate personal decisions for our bodies. I loudly and proudly say "NO!" to any and all vaccine and mask mandates. I say "NO!" to any overreaching demands on our health; public or private.
Pro Parental Rights
I believe that parents have the ultimate authority over their children's education. The majority of parents want their children to learn and grow into free-thinking, resilient, and responsible men and women. Unfortunately, this seemingly obvious reality is not always respected or adhered to. I stand right beside parents who speak out against school boards, teachers, and principals who are overstepping their intended purpose in our children's lives.
Pro Election Integrity
I believe that our voting system needs to be properly regulated. Every American should be certain that their vote was correctly cast and accurately counted. I support voters' rights to demand election audits when the integrity of the election is called into question.
Pro 2nd Amendment
We have the God-given right to protect ourselves. I believe whole-heartedly in the Second Amendment, and am grateful for the foresight of our founding fathers to include it in our Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment makes it very clear that this God-given right "shall not be infringed", and I will respect and honor that right every day of my life.
I believe that CRT, and all of it's malicious variations, need to be eradicated from our schools and institutions. Your race is not the most important thing about you. It is not the most important thing about ANY person. Race should not ever be a defining characteristic of who you are, how you are treated, how you treat others, nor how you navigate your life. To paraphrase the great Martin Luther King Jr., the most important thing about any person is their character.
Pro Voter ID
I believe every voting U.S. citizen is competent and capable enough to secure their own personal identification and can appreciate the importance of election integrity. I believe that in order to ensure that we have fair and honest elections, requiring personal identification to vote is of paramount importance.
Law enforcement is an essential part of living in a society. I respect and support the men and women who serve on our police force, and expect them to uphold and be accountable to our laws. While the media is surely attempting to portray our hard working police men and women in a negative light, I will not be manipulated into the perspective that police are "bad", and I hope that you won't either.
I can only imagine the dilemma many women face when they experience an unexpected pregnancy, but I believe that life begins at conception. Choices have consequences, and the solution to those consequences should never be the murder of the unborn. Admittedly, I have not always held this belief, and I regret the time period of my life that I was ignorant to what I now know to be true: life begins when a person is conceived. I will advocate for proposals that support women as they navigate through pregnancies that they may not have expected.
Anti Goverment Overreach
In all forms, I believe in the limitation of government. We are a country created "by the people, for the people." The government should never have the right to control our lives. It should not ever be allowed to be in charge of our lives, liberties, or pursuits of happiness. Governance is important, but MUST remain in it's lane. Too much government control is tyranny, too little is chaos.
Support Nick's Campaign
I am not a career politician. I am a husband, dad and concerned resident who wants to protect the citizens of Kent County. This means I do not have the benefit of Establishment dollars or the deep connections with Big Donors to help me reach voters. So, I need your help. If you have the ability to make even a small donation to my campaign, that will allow me to have greater reach in my community.
